This sheet of waterproof silicon carbide sandpaper is just right for reed adjustments and cork sanding.
Use it when your reed is just a wee big too stiff, and you don’t want to remove more than a thin bit all over.
When the cork on the tenons of your instrument are too tight, this paper is aggressive enough to remove material, but smooth enough to not leave damage behind. It’s great for adjusting the corks on too tight oboe reeds as well.
This #220 grit sheet measures 8″ x 3.5″ and should be enough to last for a long time.
